We do not expect  you to want to jump  straight in as Chairman,  but we do need more  help, particularly with  minute taking, and  assisting the operation of  lectures by learning how  to set up equipment, and  even how to dim the  lights. You can start by  being a committee  member and finding out  all those things needed to  bring you a successful  year’s activities. There are also a number  of potential history related  projects that we would  like to undertake, but do  not have the numbers to  move them forward. If  you would like to help,  please contact Aileen  Anderson    Paragraph Heading Please note that while we  welcome enquiries about the  history of Cirencester and its  environs, we are NOT a  family history society. For  family history enquiries  contact the Gloucestershire  Family History Society .  Those interested in local  history research may like to  look at our publications pages  and on the local studies page   of the Bingham Library  Trustees site, before asking  questions to which the  answers are readily available  If you would like an item on  local history published or wish  to make a local history  enquiry please contact David  Viner.
